The Violet Heart
At the center of the subterranean gloom walks Aert. Unlike the hollowed remnants of this buried world, Aert possesses something unprecedented—a strange, pulsing anomaly known only as the Vioheart.
It is an unusual heart, radiating a faint, violet luminescence that cuts through the pervasive darkness. It is both a beacon and a curse in a world starved of light.
"The rhythm of the Vioheart is the only sound that doesn't echo from the cavern walls. It beats from somewhere... else."
This isn't the surface. The sky here is made of jagged rock and forgotten roots. You are exploring an immense, dark gothic architecture built entirely within the hollow core of a dying planet.
Aert is not of this inner crust. The core narrative is built around the "Visitor" premise—an entity arriving in an established, decaying ecosystem, disrupting the long-held stagnation and awakening things that should have remained asleep.
The planet's true core is stirring. Grotesque, gothic creatures—twisted by the pressure and darkness of the deep crust—are beginning to emerge, drawn upward by the rhythm of the Vioheart.
Combat in Vioheart relies not on brute force, but on the fluid, unpredictable arcs of the Urumi—a flexible whip-sword of ancient design.
Mastering the Urumi means controlling space. The blade bends around defenses, striking multiple targets in sweeping, elegant motions that contrast sharply with the brutal, rigid architecture of the inner world.
Vioheart is currently in its V1.0 Prototype phase. Core mechanics involving Aert's movement, the Urumi combat system, and the initial gothic environments of the inner planet are implemented and undergoing iteration.
